Inclement Weather

snowPlease note our inclement weather schedule. We know that at times it's dangerous to drive in to the church on Sunday morning after a snow or ice storm. But we also want to hold church services if at all possible - thus the inclement weather schedule. Here's how it works:

  • In the event of a snow or ice storm near the time of church services, a decision will be made whether to proceed with the inclement weather schedule or not.
  • If there is snow or ice on Sunday morning, we'll try to make a decision by 6:30 AM.
  • There will be an announcement on the church answering machine indicating whether we'll be on our regular schdule for the day or the inclement weather schedule. Simply phone the church and listen to the recorded message.
  • You can also access our inclement weather schedule on this church web site. If there is an announcement, it will be posted on the main (Home) page of this site.
  • The inclement weather format will be to cancel the Growth Groups and move the 9:30 worship service to 11:00 AM. This should not only be easy to remember, but it should give everyone sufficient time to dig out and arrive without high risk of an accident on the road.
  • In the rare event that we should have a snow emergency and feel the need to cancel all services, you can find out this information through the same channels mentioned above.
