José Moreno1215 124th St. East Bradenton, FL 34212
José serves as an ordained pastor with Missionary Gospel Fellowship of Turlock, California. This Missions organization ministers to Hispanics and other nationalities throughout North America. MGF missionaries minister to the incarcerated, International students, military personnel, Mormons, and trains nationals in Mexico. José and his wife, Gladys Ballantine Moreno, married in 1965 in Bolivia where she was serving as a full-time secretary to the President of the Bolivian Indian Mission. Gladys was one of Grace Community Church’s earliest supported missionaries prior to her marriage to José. José and Gladys served for 30 years in ministry to Bolivia including 3 ½ years in Costa Rica preaching and teaching God’s Word in churches and through home Bible studies. José has served as Director for Bolivia for Every Home For Christ and was President of the Bible Society and National Churches of Bolivia. He was privileged to attend the International Convention for National Pastors sponsored by the Billy Graham Association in Amsterdam. In 1987 José and Gladys moved to California as their daughter was
enrolled at Biola University. Here José served as Director for Child Care
International operating a warehouse on the Mexican border dispensing food and
medicine to the needy in Mexico. José is celebrating 50 years in the Lord’s vineyard this year, 2009, and we thank the Lord for the faithful service of both José and Gladys Moreno. |
